My work is created to surprise and confuse, I am not interested in showing the way things are but rather how they aren’t. I constantly investigate the way images and objects are formed and how they operate and I try to erase their original intent and manipulate them into what I want them to be. Satire, sarcasm and absurdity are of ultimate importance to me as an artist, whether they are directed towards the viewer, the particular medium I'm working with, or myself, their presence is vital.
